Program Summary:  Welcome to 2010 Edition of EMC War Stories! This is the program where you, the EMC professionals, are the guest speakers! You may have the solution to your colleague's problems. Or you may have a problem that someone else has the solution to. This industry is one in which hardware does not behave in accordance with its schematic: Wires are antenna, board traces are stripline, LCD screens are apertures. Little formal training in these area exists—this meeting provides a forum for technical interchange. Problems are not limited to technological. This is a tough industry for those wishing to be respected, especially by those who do not have the technological background to understand this business. Dealings with certifying agencies, customers, suppliers, designers, assemblers, marketing, quality, and last but not least--your own management!  Carl Irby, Ft. Worth, will be the moderator for the tenth annual EMI/EMC War Stories presented by the Dallas Chapter of the IEEE EMC Society. Attendees are invited to participate in this informal roundtable discussion of unique, sometimes humorous, sometimes serious EMI/EMC problems and solutions. Please feel free to bring samples, slides or photographs as required to describe your individual tale of woe.
